  • If Patients who wish to replace their missing teeth with dental implants do not have sufficient bone in their jaw to anchor the implants firmly need a treatment called as Bone Grafting. In this procedure, either particles or a block of bone is taken from their own body or from other natural/ synthetic sources . This bone graft is placed in the region of interest to increase the bone volume, thereby, facilitating the placement of implants.
  • After Bone grafting the patient may have to wait for 6 months to 1 year for implant placement and fixing their teeth.
